Usain Bolt’s attorneys claim $12.7 million missing from investment firm account!

Bolt's attorneys are threatening legal action if the funds are not returned in 10 days!

Retired Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt, widely considered as one of the greatest sprinters in the history of the sport, is reportedly missing $12.7 million from his account with a private investment firm in Jamaica that is currently being investigated by authorities. This is according to Usain Bolt’s lawyer, Linton P. Gordon, in a document provided to Reuters.

In a letter sent to Stocks & Securities Limited, attorney Linton P. Gordon demanded that the money be returned, threatening civil and criminal action if the money is not returned within 10 days. The company has stated that it discovered the fraud earlier this month, and several of its clients may also be missing millions of dollars.

Jamaica’s finance minister, Nigel Clarke, has called the situation alarming but also noted that it is unusual. Financial authorities have assumed temporary management of the private investment firm, which is allowed to keep operating but needs approval from the government for any transactions.

Usain Bolt is the world record holder in the 100 meters, 200 meters, and 4×100 meters relay. He has won numerous Olympic and World Championship medals, including 8 Olympic gold medals. He retired from competitive running in 2017.
