Canva, the popular online design platform, has announced a series of new features that leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to simplify and enhance the creative process. The new features include:

This feature allows users to create custom templates based on their brand identity, color palette, and preferred style. Users can simply enter their brand name and logo, and Magic Design will generate a variety of templates for different purposes, such as social media posts, presentations, flyers, and more.

Magic Edit & Eraser

This feature enables users to edit and enhance their photos with one click. Users can apply filters, adjust brightness and contrast, remove backgrounds, crop and resize images, and more. Magic Photos also offers suggestions for improving the composition and quality of the photos.

Magic Presentation

Users can choose from a range of themes and layouts, add text and images, and let Magic Presentations do the rest. Magic Presentations will automatically generate transitions, animations, charts, graphs, and other elements to make the presentations more dynamic and interactive.

Magic Resize

This feature allows users to resize their designs for different platforms and formats with ease. Users can select from a list of preset sizes or enter their own custom dimensions. Magic Resize will then adjust the design accordingly without compromising its quality or appearance.

Canva Magic Write Everywhere

This in an AI-powered copywriting tool that helps content creators create engaging, creative content. User can use visual and text together to create fresh ideas for proposals, oress releases, business plans, customer support responses, product descriptions, and more.

These new features are part of Canva’s Visual Worksuite™️, which aims to provide a comprehensive solution for all kinds of design needs. According to Canva’s co-founder and CEO Melanie Perkins, these features are powered by generative AI models that have been trained on millions of designs created by Canva’s 125 million users.

Perkins said that these features are designed to make design more accessible and fun for everyone. She added that Canva’s mission is to empower anyone to create anything they can imagine.

Canva’s new features come at a time when the demand for online design tools is increasing due to the pandemic-induced shift to remote work and digital communication. Canva claims that it has seen a 50% growth in team accounts since March 2020, with over 6 million teams using its platform across various industries.

Canva’s new features are available to all users worldwide starting today. Users can access them through Canva’s website or mobile app.
