Stellantis, the parent company of Ram Trucks, has revealed the Ram Revolution Concept, a new electric pickup truck that is set to “boldly” set a new standard for the future of electric trucks. According to Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares, the Ram Revolution will outperform all competitors in terms of range, towing, payload, and charge time, the attributes customers care most about.
The Ram Revolution Concept boasts several impressive features, including up to 18 feet of cargo storage, detachable third-row seating, a detachable center console, a multifunctional tailgate, Grand Saloon doors, and automatically powered steps. It will sit on the STLA frame, which is designed for larger electric vehicles and provides a range of over 500 miles on a single charge. The larger frame will also offer more rear legroom and comfort compared to the 2023 Ram 1500.
Here is the reveal video.
Although Ram is a little late to the game with several other electric trucks already on the market, the company believes it has taken the time to create a superior vehicle. When the Ram Revolution electric truck is released in 2024, it will go head to head with competitors like the Ford F-150 Lightning, Rivian R1T, Tesla Cybertruck, and Chevy Silverado EV. The production version of the Ram Revolution is expected to be revealed in the coming months.
