According to data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), Tesla sold 74,402 China-made electric vehicles (EV) in February, a 31.7% increase from the previous year.
This marks a 12.6% increase from January, when the company sold 66,051 made in China Model 3 and Model Y Vehicles.
Tesla’s recent move to reduce prices in its key markets has reportedly helped increase demand, resulting in growing sales for the month of February.
Despite this, the company has yet to bring its prices back to pre-pandemic levels. If raw material prices continue to fall, this could give Tesla further leverage to put more pressure on its competitors hence more savings to its costumers.
